Cub Scouts at 38th Aberdeen are boys and girls aged between 8 and 10 1/2, who make up the second section of the Scouting family, between Beavers and Scouts.
Here the games get harder and children have more independence. As well as meetings every week, Cubs have the oppotunity to take part whole host of different activities, visits and weekends away including Aberdeen wide competitions and District Cub Camp.
Cub Scouts enjoy new adventures while making friends along the way. Their commitment is recognised by over thirty activity badges.
Boys and girls:
- Go camping
- Play games
- Exploring the outdoors
- Try adventurous activities – such as climbing, sailing and archery
- Meeting people from their local community
- Experience the culture of other countries
- Keeping themselves and others safe
We meet every Friday at Queens Cross Church Hall.
